Vintage Shakespeare classic Universal Precision Jeweled Quick Takapart 100 yard Reel with jewels. This reel is very clean, spins fast and smooth with a strong brake wheel mounted on the handle side rim and rear plate clicker thats strong and loud. The head plate rim has a very nice knurled band and goes well with the knurled Jewels covering the bearing ends. The double grip tournament style handle looks great and the grips spin freely. This as most of the Shakespeare reels of this time are quick takapart style. The foot is clean showing Shakespeare Co, 100 yards and the model or year of 1924 underneath. Very nice condition reel.
