Unmarked Brass Single Action Raised Pillar Casting Reel Circa -1870. There is a fine craftsmans touch on this elegant simple and single action solid brass small raised pillar gem. This fine reel is over 150 years old and is smooth and fast turning. All parts including spectacular S-Handle with fancy knurled counter balanced weight and stunning grip are original. Reel measures 1”- 5/16” across face edge to edge. No attempt has been made at cleaning or polishing this reel. Its simply fabulous!!!
