A. H. Fox Gun Company by Ocean City Free spool 250 Yard Circa-1932. Fox reels were made for the A. H. Fox Gun Company, who manufactured one of the great double barrel shotguns, by Ocean City Mfg. Co. They were made in the 1930s and when Fox quit the line Ocean City still carried them in their catalogs under the Fox name for a year or so until they were integrated into the Ocean City line of reels. This is a very fine example that spins fast and smooth with a strong clicker and simple lever action free spool. Hard rubber and german silver are both in very nice condition. Under the clean foot you will see the A.H. Fox Gun Company name and 250 yard size. This is a very fine example and cool collector cross over reel.
