This rare model reel was only made a couple years before being replaced by the common etched fishing scene reel. This beauty has been fished but is in very good condition, Its Fast, smooth and the level wind flies side to side. The clicker is loud and strong. The engraving on both front and back plates is in good clear etched condition. The removable jeweled bearing covers are knurled nicely and clean. The foot is clean, not manicured showing the year made 38 underneath. Tough reel to find.
