Early Brass with Brake S-Handle Reel Circa-1870-80. This is a very fine example of a Early Fine Brass reel with a fully operating pull Brake located on front rim. Reel turns extremely smooth with no wobble or play. All Parts including fantastic S- Handle, screw heads, and foot are in fantastic condition. I have no proof of the Maker of this fine reel. This is a Very fine Reel and would be a centerpiece for any collection. **No attempt was made to clean this very fine patina finished brass reel.
