Vintage Extremely Nice very clean Blue Grass No. 10 German Silver Level Winding Fishing and casting Reel made starting in 1930 by Horton Mfg Co........ Horton bought the rights to all Meek Products and properties in 1916-17 and continued the long years of the Meek and Sons name with there own Blue Grass line of reels. This reel is fast and smooth with a strong clicker. The reel face rim is clean and has a doubled rope knurl trim. The bearing covers, and handle knob screw have matching knurl. The foot is clean, not manicured, and straight. The handle is clean, straight , with double counter balanced free spinning grips. This reel is a great example of a fine level wind reel made by Horton Manufacturing.
