John A. Cozzone 4" Wooden Bank Reel New Jersey Circa-1922

$225.00

John A. Cozzone 4" Wooden Bank Reel Circa-1922. It is said that Cozzone originally made these reels from left over parts from the Meisselbach Factory after a fire destoyed it in 1921. John Cozzone was very good friends with the Meisselbach Family and there factory’s were only a couple blocks apart at that time. This reel is the Rare 4 inch Version not made originally and its said only a few were made in this size with most wooden bank reels being a bigger 5-7 inch size. This is a clone of the Meisselbach Good Luck Bank Reels. ( The Meisselbach Good Luck reel is also currently on this site) This smaller version is in great shape showing some wear but spins smoothly and everything works on this fine reel exactly as intended. see the Bottom of the reels foot for identification along with the Intitials for New Jersey N.J.
