Julius Vom Hofe "Plate Wind Fly Reel" #3 1/2 ( 2 3/8" Dia. 1" Spool ) Circa-1900. This is a RARE classic early JVH plate wind with nickel plate over brass face in pretty good condition for these. The hard rubber is in very nice condition on both rear plate and rims. The reel clicks correctly in both directions and is extremely smooth with no wobble. Fantastic fly reel rarely seen.
