Extremely light weight and was used mainly as a Trade Reel for Abbey & Imbrie NY., Henry Michaelsons Co., and Herman Kiffe Co. in the Early 1900s. This reel is a brillant designed simple but extremely elegant typical Julius Vom Hofe specialty. It spins Amazing, Fast and smooth. The Rear plate mounted clicker works perfectly. The Jeweled removable bearing covers are knurled brilliantly and stand out on this simple Reel. The Handle is extremely straight, grip spins freely and the handle nut is again knurled fine. Foot is full length, unmanicured and shows the 3 1/2 size underneath. Fantastic really nice Vom Hofe treasure………..
