Langley Rare REEL CAST No. 500a Anodized Bronze Narrow Spool San Diego Calif. Circa -1959
Langley REEL CAST No. 500a Anodized Bronze Narrow Spool San Diego Calif. Circa -1959. Langley was a company formed after the End of the War and a light weight Aluminum Aircraft part maker during the WWII era, they brought that logic and design engineering to light weight Aluminum fishing reels until they sold in 1962 to Zero Hour Bomb Company or ZEBCO. This reel with aluminum spool is amazingly light and spins as fast as any reel I have ever turned. The clicker is loud and strong. This reel is in very fine condition in Bronze Anodized color which was the trademark color for the 500a. This reel is rare and the last in the fine line of Langley Tournament Reel Casters. It was only made for 3 full years.
NOTE: Any white on the reels rim is glare, its in very fine condition.
