Malte Blohms Fabriks A.B. (RIVER) Rare "ROYAL" with Freespool Goteborg, Sweden Circa-1954. This is the early model with the red handle grips but also with the River stamped thumb rest. Its fast and smooth with all functions working perfectly. Its extremely clean and in fantastic condition. Very strong clicker with the switch located on face rim that functions perfectly. Comes complete with a adjustable brake freespool that also operates fantastic and simple. This reel like the other Blohms were largely constructed with aluminum to keep them light weight. Incredible very tough to find and never seen this nice.
