Meisselbach FEATHERLIGHT # 270 Fly Reel With Original Box Circa - 1895. Almost new perfect condition Bronze finish Meisselbach Skeleton Fly reel. This reel was Known as the Trout reel. The front face plate rim is stamped Featherlight, back plate stamped Meisselbach, and the number 270 is stamped under the foot. Reel turns easily with a working clicker allowing the reel to go in both directions quickly. Both handle and foot are in perfect order with the foot having standard cutouts for rod comfort. The box is marked clearly showing some storage wear but functions perfectly. Also a small original Instruction sheet is in the box.
