Vintage Meisselbach Good luck Wooden Reel Circa -1897. This “Nottingham Style” reel is believed to have been designed from The Otto Heineman Patent also used by Cozzone Reel Company and later by Edward Vom Hofe. Ball Bearings are featured and centered on the interior spindle which keeps this fine reel straight, smooth and fast spinning. Reel has a adjustable braking system operated by the front tension knob that functions perfectly. This fantastic Wooden Ocean or Deep sea reel is in incredible shape. It has not been refinished in anyway and The Meisselbach Good Luck logo stands out boldly. The reel spins amazing and is a Incredible Reel.
