Vintage German Silver Montague " IDEAL TOURNAMENT " Fishing & Casting Reel . This is a great example of a german silver Montague Reel. Its Clean, Fast, Smooth and the clicker is strong and loud.....The reel has knurled front and rear rim trim, and knurled bearing covers. The handle is straight, clean and the counter balanced grip spins freely. The foot is typical Montague , Clean , Straight and not manicured. This is a 60 yard reel as marked under the foot. Nice Reel sold as a Trade reel by many different Hardware and Sporting good stores in early 1900s.
