Vintage German Silver Montague Rare Schmelzer’s “ BlUE SPECIAL " Jeweled. Extremely Rare and very tough great example of a german silver Montague Reel. Its Clean, Fast, Smooth and the clicker is strong and loud. The reel has knurled front rim trim and early jeweled knurled bearing covers. The counter balanced handle is straight, clean and the grip spins freely. The foot is typical Montague , clean , straight and not manicured. This is a 60 yard reel as marked under the foot. The BLUE SPECIAL example is never seen especially in this very fine condition. Tough One for sure!!
