Vintage German Silver Montague "SCHMELZER'S STANDARD " Fishing/Casting Reel with Original Marked Leather Case. This is a great example of a german silver Montague Reel. Its Clean, Fast, Smooth and the clicker is strong and loud. ....The reel has knurled front and rear rim trim, and knurled bearing covers. The handle is straight, clean and the counter balanced grip spins freely. The foot is typical Montague , Clean , Straight and not manicured. This is a 60 yard reel as marked under the foot. The Original Leather case is in good condition showing Schmelzer Arms Co. Pretty clearly. Great really heavy well built Montague Thats been fished but still looks and works amazing.
