Pflueger BUCKEYE Circa-1923-27 Jeweled
Vintage very clean Pflueger BUCKEYE Circa 1923-27 Jeweled Fishing and Casting Reel. This is the bigger of the 2 reels in the series of 80 yard Buckeyes from these years ... I have rarely seen this one with the 2" 1/4" head and tailplate diameter and it is equal to most size 4 reels...This is much bigger than the normal Buckeye seen ... Strong clicker and brake. Counter balanced handle with free spinning grip . Jeweled Bearing covers are removable, Knurled, and clean....... Reels foot is clean not manicured and has 80 yards on bottom. The Reels tail plate has patent numbers engraved clearly.
