Vintage Pflueger Buckeye Casting reel Circa -1923- Jeweled. This is a very clean, fast spinning Kentucky style reel with a strong clicker and Brake mounted on the face. The Jewels are removable and cover the bearings perfectly. The two patents show clearly on the back plate. The handle is double grip balanced nicely with free spinning grips. The foot is full length , clean and not manicured showing the spools yardage of 60. Very fine , very clean example of the early Buckeye by Pflueger Enterprise
