Pflueger BUCKEYE Double Grip Tournament Handle Jeweled Circa -1921
Vintage Pflueger Buckeye Casting reel Circa -1921. This is a very Fine condition, extremely clean, fast spinning Kentucky style reel with a strong clicker and Brake mounted on the face. The removable jeweled bearing covers are spectacular. The two patents show clearly on the back plate. The handle is double grip tournament style balanced nicely with free spinning grips. The foot is full length , clean and not manicured showing the spools yardage of 60. Very fine , very clean example of the early Buckeye.
