Pflueger BUCKEYE Jeweled Circa -1918

Vintage Pflueger Buckeye Casting reel Circa -1918- Jeweled. This is a very clean, fast spinning Kentucky style reel with a strong clicker and Brake mounted on the face. The Jeweled bearing covers are extremely nice, knurled, clean, and easily removed. The handle is double grip balanced nicely with free spinning grips. The foot is full length , clean and not manicured showing the spools yardage of 60 underneath. This example is clean but does show some brass through the nickel in a few spots. Still a very clean example of the early Buckeye by Pflueger Enterprise that can be fished or will show nicely.
