Vintage Pflueger Buckeye Casting reel Circa -1923- Jeweled with rare original Maroon Box. This is a Brand new never fished, fast spinning Kentucky style reel with a strong clicker and Brake mounted on the face. The Jewels are removable and cover the bearings perfectly. The handle is counter balanced nicely with a free spinning grip. The foot is full length , clean and not manicured showing the spools yardage of 60. The box is in very good new condition showing no shelf wear and the label is perfect. Under the box the date made and inspected of 1-23 or January of 1923 is perfectly clear. Fantastic Rare combo and a very fine clean example of the early Buckeye by Pflueger Enterprise made in 1923.
