Pflueger SUPREME No. 1573 First Level Wind Free Spool Quad with Original Leather Case & Pflueger Oiler Circa- 1919. Great classic first version model of Pfluegers first level wind casting reel. Reel is fast and smooth with freespool working great. Levelwind is smooth and flows side to side and easily raises ears. All parts are original including handle with double grooved amber grips that spin freely. This freespool operates by pulling back on the handle grip. Reel carries both Douglas & Pflueger patents along with patents pending. Original leather case is also extremely rare with model number clear on the leather flap. Oiler clearly shows Pflueger patent underneath as well. Tough Historical reel!
