Shakespeare BEETZSEL Drop Down Level Wind Jeweled Circa - 1926 - 100 Yards . This is a original Redifor Patent version of a fine German Silver and Nickel Silver Shakespeare made reel that spins extremely fast and smooth. This Redifor Beetzsel version comes with the drop down line guide leveler that operates perfectly and with a Freespool that can be engaged internally by opening up the face plate and rotating the gear forward to activate. I have activated the freespool on this reel and now a simple back click on the handle and this reel instantly goes freespool. Pretty simple. The rear mounted clicker is also strong and loud. Jewels are typical knurled Shakespeare and catalog correct. Both German silver double grip handle and German Silver sculptured Pillar foot are in great shape and again catalog correct.
