Shakespeare Tournament No. 1744 Tournament Handle Jeweled Freespool Black Anodized Aluminum & German Silver Circa -1931 . Rare Black Anodized version of a Shakespeare classic seldom seen and never cataloged. Its aluminum including both plates, handle, and spool with amazing german silver pillars and foot. This is a original very clean Tournament version of a fine Shakespeare made reel that spins extremely fast and smooth with a rim mounted Freespool lever that functions perfectly. The rear mounted clicker is also strong and loud. Jewels are typical knurled Shakespeare. Both Tiny tournament aluminum double grip handle and foot are in great shape.
