Shakespeare IDEAL No. 1963 Level Wind Jeweled with Green/Grey Original Box pouch & screwdriver Circa - 1918. This reel is in very very fine condition and spins fast and smooth. The rim mounted clicker wheel turns easily and the clicker is strong and loud. Jewels are knurled and removable. The Handle is double grip balanced with both grips spinning freely. The foot is full length clearly showing the model or year 1918 along with the spool size of 100 yards. The box is in okay condition showing some storage wear and water soiling but holds together nicely with a good label ( small spot of what appears to be a Ink splatter) but still shows okay. Great old Shakespeare combo. NOTE: This is the earlier Box with the Label on the top ( later models had it on the side ) and the patents all clearly shown on the bottom.
