Shakespeare SHAPLEIGH'S MASCOT No. G248B Trade Reel for Diamond Brand MFG with original Box Circa-1936. This is a Mint Brand new reel in a very good stored Box. The reel spins fast and smooth with a gliding level wind. The clicker and brake both function perfect and as intended. The marbled plastic insert is in perfect condition. Jeweled bearing covers are flawless. Both handle and foot are also in perfect condition and all parts Catalog correct. Box is in great condition with very clear label. Great Combo.
NOTE: In a couple pictures the rubber insert looks cracked on the reels head plate rim side, It is just part of the original hard rubber and there is no cracks or breaks. Its flawless!!
