South Bend No. 1190 Steelhead Fly Rod Reel Single Action with Original Box Circa-1937. In 1937 this extremely fine reel was South Bends highest priced fly reel. It was considered a heavy duty and very sturdy single action reel enough so to chase the strong fighting Steelhead. Considered to be rare only made for 4 short years and never seen this nice. The reel itself is in very fine condition showing really no wear and coming with the original Excel-Oreno South Bend backing. It spins smooth, straight, fast and clicking action functions perfectly favoring right hand wind. Everything functions like a brand new reel. The rare box is also in great condition showing just limited storage wear with a very nice clear label. Incredible tough Combo.
