Very Small 40 yard Vintage 1880 Brass Rim Stop Latch Abbey & Imbrie N.Y. Trade Reel Classic Early Brass New York style reel. Rim stop latch will slow and stop spool when pushed. Stop latch works as a early brake drag. This brass reel is clean and spins smooth. All parts including screws are original. The handle is clean and original. The foot is also clean and does’nt appear manicured. This reel screams New York made. Great really early trade reel with the Abbey & Imbrie heart shaped hook trademark.
