Vintage JACK WELCH HANDMADE, RARE Narrow Spool Tournament Casting Reel, Dowagiac, Mi. Fishing/Casting Reel. Reel is MINT, Amazing. Very clean, Fast and smooth. This is a 40 yard Tiny Gem. Jack Welch was the Head reel designer & Developer for Heddon Reel Department from 1920 until 1931. He started making his own reels shortly after and this is the rarest of them all. Jack Welch only made reels for a couple Short years and his reels are sought by all collectors. This reel comes with a strong clicker and a very classy smooth wood Arbor. I have also added a small leather case for storage with a nice buckle latch. Look at this Amazing Example of a very tough reel to find. Enjoy!!
