Vintage UNMARKED INDIANA STYLE REEL In great condition. This is a over sized Indiana reel with a 7” span. It is a rare 12 spoke or arm model not like the normal 6-8 arm. It spins fast, really straight, smooth and the rear mounted tension control or screw works perfectly. I believe this is a early version for these with the brass hardware and the set screw for tension control device. I have never seen another with this feature and I find it very interesting. Many different models were made by Local Machine shops for years all around Indiana, Michigan, and a few other states and left unmarked for us to figure out the makers. The bone handle grip is a single grip unlike most other designs that you normally see 2 grips. The spokes are all in place and hold the line nicely. Cool reel.
