The very fine reel is finished in satin nickel and is very clean. Its smooth spinning with no wobble. The rear mounted clicker is strong and loud. This is a Winchester built reel for a company Winchester purchased in 1913 Barney & Berry Inc. Barney & Berry specialized in Ice skate design and production at the turn of the Century. This is a early 1900 reel design but this Model was the last in the line of these reels featuring the satin finish. This is a tough model to find especially in this condition. Take notice of the 60 yard size as seen under the foot with the traditional Winchester underline.
