Winchester #1236 Nickel Plated Skeleton Fly Reel 60 Yard Circa-1919. This is the typical raised pillar skeleton reel designed to help fly line dry as used. The reel is finished in Nickel Silver plated over brass and is extremely clean which is rare for these. Its fast, smooth and straight spinning with no wobble. The rear mounted clicker is strong and loud. This Winchester reel was often seen in Retail, Hardware, and Sporting Good Stores around the United States in the early 1900s. This is a tough model to find especially in this condition.
