Winchester No. 2142 40 yard Utililty Reel Circa - 1919
Vintage Winchester 2142 40yrd Utility Fishing Reel. This is a Nickel plated over brass Very Tiny 40 yard Utility Reel brought over from Hendryx after the purchase by Winchester in 1919. This reel was really designed for the beginner fisher-person or child. The reel is clean but does show some areas of brass which is expected for this hard working 100 year old reel. The handle is clean but I am not sure its original. The foot is clean showing 40 yards underneath . Both rear clicker and brake work perfect and as intended. Overall a good clean example of a Winchester reel.
