Vintage beautiful classic Wm. H. TALBOT REEL CO. " COMET " NEVADA, Mo. Fishing and Casting Reel With Leather Case.. This is a RARE Trade Reel for Abercrombie & Fitch New York and all collectors know that they only put there name on top of the line fishing tackle and rarely ever seen for sale. This reel is very clean, very fast and the clicker is strong and loud. Beautiful Head plate rim with double engraved knurled rope design. The foot is clean and not manicured and also carries the 3 screw patent dates of 1901. The counter balanced handle is clean and straight and the grip spins freely. Bearing covers are Knurled, clean and again correct for this reel. This also has a leather case in good condition. A truly nice example of this reel to collect or fish but a must have for Abercrombie & Fitch New York collectors.
