Vintage beautiful classic Wm. H. Talbot Reel Co. "ELI" Nevada, Mo. with Leather Case Circa-1906. This is a Rare seldom seen reel only being made for 4 short years until this model was replaced by the Comet series in 1910. Most collectors agree this is the toughest of the Talbot models to find. This German Silver reel is extremely clean with a mirror finish, very fast, smooth and the clicker is strong and loud. Beautiful clean, very simple head plate rim design. The counter balanced handle is clean, straight and the grip spins freely. Bearing covers are Knurled spectacular, clean and catalog correct. Very early serial # 1927 seen on inside rim plates. This also has a leather case in good condition with a working snap.
