The reel handle nut which in this case is under a bearing cover is removable to feed oil directly to the main gears. The brass brake is adjustable to completely stop the reel or let the reel spin freely. All of these changes appear to be factory installed. This is a fine reel that spins freely with a strong clicker. The double grip tournament style handle increases the speed as well. The foot is clean, straight and not manicured.
